Garam Masala - spices
This spice can be hard to find in general grocery and natural food stores. Plus when you make it yourself, you know you're safe.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. cumin ground
- 1 1/2 tsp. coriander ground
- 1 1/2 tsp. cardamom ground
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper ground
- 1 tsp. cinnamon ground
- 1/2 tsp. cloves ground
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg ground
- chili powder Dash, for more spice (optional)
Instructions
- Mix cumin, coriander, cardamon, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg in a bowl (I like using a baby whisk). Place mixture in an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
